Race at your Pace
Have you ever wanted to try racing or riding in a group but your intimidated by riding with other cyclists? Or maybe you just want a ride that will push you to the next level. If either of these things is true of you than The Castle Rock Chase is for you.
Ride Details
For the ride you will be paired up in teams of 3 cyclists. Everyone on your team will ride at or very near your pace. Your pace will be determined by either your speed on the course the week before or your average pace on a ride. If you don’t know either of these you will be placed in a group prepared to ride at your speed. The starting order of your team will be determined by your pace. The slower teams will start first and will be chased by the faster teams. Starting positions for the faster teams will be delayed so that they will have to have their best ride to win the race.
Is this Ride for Me?
Yes, For those of you who have never ridden in a group before this will be a great way to get used to riding with other cyclists on the road. The groups of 3 will keep the number of people down in the group so that you stay within your comfort zone manlig-halsa.se.
For those of you who want to learn how to race this course is perfect for being able to work together in your team exchanging pulls and learning how a proper pace line works.
Course Description
The course is fairly flat and only 14 miles. It begins with a short climb to get your legs going and ends downhill. Every turn in the course will be clearly marked so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. Click here for a full course description.
Throughout the summer this page will be updated with the fastest overall time as well as riders who get their own personal best.
