We got the beams installed and the auditorium looks incredible. The pictures don’t do it justice. Praise the Lord for His amazing work in getting this building put together and ready for the Church to move in. Hope to see you tomorrow as the church gathers in the new ‘church house’.
Due to the severe weather predicted during the regularly scheduled church services this Sunday we are going to cancel all church services for today. We will have our scheduled business meeting next Sunday night instead of tonight. I was planning on preaching John 15:1-11 this morning. Take some time to sit down with your family and discuss this passage together. I will miss you all.

It’s all coming together. With the carpet installed you can really get a picture of what the finished product will look like. Praise the Lord for his marvelous work. I have been thrilled with the work that the body of the church has done in accomplishing this project. I can’t wait till we can move in. (Don’t tell anyone but I may have moved into my office at church. It’s a bit cool, but it’s quiet.)
We are going to be painting moulding tomorrow beginning at 8:00am. Hope to see you there. I know I don’t need to say this but, the Ladies are welcome to come as well. The more painters we have the less time that it will take.

Dear Church Family,
Sunday will be out first service in our new building. It’s not quite done yet but the drywall is up and It’s got heat. Because of this we have a special work opportunity for everyone in the church. I’m gonna bring my girls. I want them to be a part of this incredible occasion.
Most of the work that needs to be done is cleaning. We will also be doing a little bit of decorating and setting up a temporary sound system and stage.
We will be serving a breakfast for everyone that comes. Please come and work with us.

Dear Church Family,
Toronto water heating specialists came, and we passed our all of rough inspections yesterday HVAC, Framing, and Electrical. The drywallers are coming in tomorrow with a double team so they should have the sheet rock up and ready for us to have a service in there Sunday Morning.
We will be doing a significant amount of clean up on Thursday night and Saturday all day. I encourage you to come out and help. Saturday will be a big day. We are going to be setting up chairs and sound system and making things comfortable for the services Sunday. We are in the end of our building project if you haven’t gotten out to work on the project yet the window for being able to help out is growing shorter.

Remember we a have a work evening tonight at 6:00pm and on Saturday morning at 8:00am. Come on by and get involved in the building of the church house. We have seen some great progress this week. The unit was installed yesterday afternoon. Here are a few pictures of the installation of the HVAC unit. Praise the Lord things are moving forward on the building. We will be having a work night this thursday September 13 beginning at 6:00pm. The nursery is in need of expansion so we will be removing a section of wall, changing the direction that the doors open, and framing in an opening between the nursery and the “new” toddler nursery. We hope to have you out to help with this project.

Thanks to all or you who came out today to get the concrete pads poured. Both of them look great. This is the first step of the building that is completely done. Praise the Lord for his bountiful provision.
Hope to see many of you out for our church services tomorrow. We have our missionaries the Moores in our service tomorrow. I am excited to hear how the ministry that we have been supporting in South Africa is growing. As our church services continue to grow make sure you pay attention to visitors that come in. We need to make sure they get a place to sit. Some of you may have to squish in a bit more than you normally do or even give up your favorite spots. It is so exciting to see our church grow.

Dear Church Family,
This coming Sunday we have the special privilege of having the Moore’s in our service to report how God is working in their church plant in South Africa. The Moore’s are one of the first missionaries that Harvest Baptist Church took on for support over 5 years ago. I am very excited to hear what God has been doing in the small church that they have recently started. I encourage each of you to be here for every service this Sunday.
John Moore will be speaking during Sunday School, Morning Worship, and the Evening Service. He is traveling with his family and one of the members of their Church in Africa. They will be sharing some special music with us. This is our opportunity to personally meet one of the missionaries that our church has faithfully supported and see how our gifts have promoted the growth of the gospel in South Africa.
