New Church Sign

Sign

Special thanks to the men who came out and helped to install the new church sign (Dave Ater, Dave Dayton, Pastor Josh, and Jeff Musgrave). It looks wonderful. I really think this sign combined with the cross really have upped our curb appeal. The hardest part was making enough extension cord to get the welder out to the street. However we combined our redneck ingenuity and got it done. We had a fun time together installing the sign. There is a slideshow of pictures attached so that you can see a bit of the process. Those of us who worked on it together had a great time.

Carpet is installed – Workers need for tomorrow.

They were able to install the carpet in less time than they thought and it looks great. We are going to be putting the church back together starting tomorrow morning. I hope you will be able to make it.

Workers Needed – New Carpet

workers-needed

Workers needed this Saturday

Don’t forget that we are getting new carpet this week. Last night we had a great crew of workers come out to help remove all of the furniture so that the carpet can be installed tomorrow. Saturday we are in need of workers to help us put everything back together for Sunday. We need more than just grunt work. Ladies are needed for some organization especially in the nursery area. It is going to be so nice to see the new carpet.

We will begin work at 8:00am Saturday the 16th. I think the work should take us 3-4 hours.

Check us out on Facebook. Click Here.

Beams are here!

Praise the Lord! The beams came in. We will be installing them some time next week. If you would like to help let Pastor Josh or Dan Wilson know and we will work out a time for you to be able help us with the installation.

Carpet is installed + request for workers tomorrow

Dear Church Family,

It’s all coming together. With the carpet installed you can really get a picture of what the finished product will look like. Praise the Lord for his marvelous work. I have been thrilled with the work that the body of the church has done in accomplishing this project. I can’t wait till we can move in. (Don’t tell anyone but I may have moved into my office at church. It’s a bit cool, but it’s quiet.)

We are going to be painting moulding tomorrow beginning at 8:00am. Hope to see you there. I know I don’t need to say this but, the Ladies are welcome to come as well. The more painters we have the less time that it will take.

In Christ,

Pastor Josh

Work Day Tomorrow at 8:30am

Dear Church Family,

Sunday will be out first service in our new building. It’s not quite done yet but the drywall is up and It’s got heat. Because of this we have a special work opportunity for everyone in the church. I’m gonna bring my girls. I want them to be a part of this incredible occasion.

Most of the work that needs to be done is cleaning. We will also be doing a little bit of decorating and setting up a temporary sound system and stage.

We will be serving a breakfast for everyone that comes. Please come and work with us.

Pastor Josh

Praise

Dear Church Family,

Toronto water heating specialists came, and we passed our all of rough inspections yesterday HVAC, Framing, and Electrical. The drywallers are coming in tomorrow with a double team so they should have the sheet rock up and ready for us to have a service in there Sunday Morning.

We will be doing a significant amount of clean up on Thursday night and Saturday all day. I encourage you to come out and help. Saturday will be a big day. We are going to be setting up chairs and sound system and making things comfortable for the services Sunday. We are in the end of our building project if you haven’t gotten out to work on the project yet the window for being able to help out is growing shorter.

See you all soon,

Pastor Josh
